The Florida panther is the land apex predator of the Everglades. They consume mainly hog, deer, racoon, and armadillo, but they also occasionally consume rabbits, rats, and birds.
The American aligator is one of the largest reptiles in the world, and is a very important species in the Everglades. They lay nests and help create peat, allowing animals to get free* shelter and improving habitats. They also do their whole predator thing, eating mainly fish, frogs, birds, and mammals.
The Burmese python is one of the largest snakes. It originated in South Asia, and were released into Florida via the exotic pet trade. They can eat deer whole, and are essentally an apex predator. Because of the new competition, panthers are struggling to get food, and mammal populations are dropping rapily.
